| The Band |
Celtic
Mist is a five
piece band who play traditional Irish music, Irish
ballads and folk songs, a touch of country, bluegrass
and a taste of light opera.
The band was formed in 1993 by Shay |
| and
Margaret, who were joined by Patsy and Sean five
years ago, and more recently, by Brian Kilcawley,
to form the present line up. |

| Patsy McEvoy |
| Patsy McEvoy was born
in Blessington, Co Wicklow and now lives in north County
Dublin. he plays guitar, whistle and has a powerful singing
voice. Before joimng "Celtic Mist", he was lead
singer with "The Fair Isle Folk" and has many
records to his credit, some of which have reached the
Irish music charts. On this cd, Patsy displays his song
writing skills, with two of his songs, "Homeland
in Mayo" and "I'm Only Thinking of You".
He has always had a keen interest in song writing, particularly
in songs of emigration. This is the first recordings of
his own compositions, which we are proud to include on
this cd. |

| Sean Butler |
| Sean Butler was born
in Inchicore, Dublin and, though he spent most of his
childhood summers in Sneem Co. Kerry, has always considered
himself a "true blue". He now lives with his
family in Templeogue. He plays electric accordion and
guitar, and also sings the odd ballad. as a student, with
the famous accordion teacher, Johnny Mitchell, Sean was
the leinster accordion champion, and was a qualifier in
the All Ireland Championship. Sean is a keen sports fan,
with a particular interest in gaa and rugby. He is a regular
visitor to Croke Park - "The
Dubs" and "The Buckaneers" being his heroes.

| Margaret Eustace |
| Margaret Eustace was
born in Inishowen, Co.Donegal, and has lived in Dublin
for many years. Margaret is a trained opera singer, having
studied voice at Dublin's College of Music. She is a "mezzo
soprano" and has appeared many times in the National
Concert Hall, also in London and America. Last year, on
the first anniversary of September 1 lth, Margaret was
invited by the N.Y.P.D to perform with the garda male
voice choir in a series of concerts in New York, including
a performance at Ground Zero on the morning of September
1 lth. During that week, she sang classical Irish, and
a selection of operatic arias. Margaret has been involved
in feis ceol and has many gold medals to her credit. |

| Shay Eustace |
| Shay Eustace
has been involved in music from a very early age, having
caught the end of the showband era in the late 60's and
early 70's, playing with a small local band "The
Texans" Irish folk music has always been his favourite,
and in the late 70's he formed the successful ballad group
"The Fair Isle Folk", which also included Sean
and Patsy. Shay is a collector of Irish music and ballads.
he has been involved in local radio for many
years. His programme "Shay' s Ballad Session"
has always been popular with his fans and fellow balladeers.
Shay is married to Margaret and they live in the shadow
of Suí Finn mountain, near Manor Kilbride, Co.Wicklow.

| Brian Kilcawley |
| Brian Kilcawley is from
Beaumont, North Dublin and is the latest member of Celtic
Mist. He studied music with Mr.Scully at Whitehall National
School, playing the accordion. Later, he studied guitar,
mandolin, violin, tenor banjo and g-banjo. Brian comes
from a very musical background. His mother is a native
of Co. Mayo and his father from Co. Sligo, areas steeped
in traditional Irish music. His grandfather, the late
James Gill, was a famous flute and concertina player from
Crossmalina, Co.Mayo. Brian is well known on the Dublin
music scene, as a session musician, playing Traditional
Irish music and American bluegrass. He regards Steve Earle
as one of his favourites. |

| Collectively, Celtic
Mist has years of experience, thousands of songs and oceans
of talent, which makes them one of the finest ballad groups
in Ireland. |

| Celtic Mist are available for Pubs,
Concerts, House Parties (at home and abroad!), and are currently
playing The Brazen Head Pub, Merchant's Quay, Dublin (Monday nights)
and other gigs in the Dublin, Kildare, and Wicklow region. They also offer a "3 in 1 Wedding Package" for your wedding. |
