Imrama
have been playing together for almost three years now. Brendan
and Marion met at a trad session in the Cobblestone Bar in Smithfield,
and initially played as a duo with various guest musicians.
They were subsequently joined by Cathy, whose fiddle playing
helped to consolidate the sound which they now enjoy. |
| There followed
many gigs, mainly around the Dublin area, although they
have made a few trips beyond the Pale as well! Their music
is mainly trad and folk, but shows influences from other
genres as well. They also like to include some of their
own original material from time to time. |

 |
Venues
they have played in include The
Malt House, James's St., Frank
Ryans, Queen St., The
Chancery, The
Bloody Stream, Howth, The
Clock, Thomas St., The
Anglers' Rest, Strawberry Beds, The
Snug, Dorset St., The
Rathmines Inn and The
Quays in Temple Bar. |

| Imrama
