We offer to find contact details and profiles of live music groups, bands, and performers; assess their suitability for any particular event; and recommend suitable acts to the following Event Organisers:

• Private individuals organising a wedding, anniversary party, debs dance, or any other event requiring live music;
• the owners and managers of Restaurants, Hotels, Pubs, and other Venues looking for live music.
• Golf, Rugby, and GAA Clubs seeking live music for social events.
  

We offer a corresponding service to live music groups, bands, and performers who are willing to accept recommendation to us on our terms. We will assess their suitability for any particular event and recommend those we deem suitable and who are available to Event Organisers. When considering "suitability" we take availability, location, size of group, instruments, equipment, and dress code, vocals, styles of music in setlist, and price.

Event Organisers can give us details of an upcoming event, a wedding or corporate function, and we will recommend

• suitable Acts,
• available on the chosen date,
• and within budget.

Acts who register their details with us and make themselves known to us by sending us a Demo CD and notifying us of their upcoming gigs and showcase events may be invited to become registered members of our agency. The benefits that will accrue are as follows:

• They will be given priority in recommendations in response to queries from clients.
• They will have access to the area on the site where we publish details of recent requests, the famous "Quote for Gigs" page, and will be entitled to submit a quote for those events. Unfortunately any delay is fatal in responding to such so it is first come first recommended. Realistically only the most recently published events are "live requests". After two or three days the recommendations will have been sent out.
• Acts may if they wish pay to have an advertisement or web page placed on the site.
• The website administrator may choose to prepare a "generic page" based on a particular act for inclusion on the site and this is a free service.
• We can accept credit card bookings on behalf of bands or performers in our PayPal account.

We would like to hear from venues in the Dublin area willing to take live music Acts from us. The two venues we currently recommend musicians to are enjoying great support.

We are also looking for a venue -- in Dublin initially -- where we could organise an event at our own expense.

The site is divided into sections and using the search engine is by far the best and quickest way to find what you are looking for.

SITE INFO: This section explains who we are, what we have to offer and how we go about it. It includes the two main forms on the site: the INQUIRY form which brings in many requests for information on bands and performers from event organisers both private and corporate each week and the ACT APPLICATION form where new groups of musicians introduce themselves to us. If you are searching for bands in your local area or a particular style of music skip these "SITE INFO" pages and go on to pages from one or other of the following sections.

• Those with contact details leading back to us cost €50 + VAT @ 21.5%.
• Those with other contact details such as telephone numbers, e-mails and web sites, which enable the client to bypass the agency, cost €100 + VAT @ 21.5%.
• Renewals cost half the original fee.
• Upgrades and changes are charged for at a rate of €40 + VAT per hour.

GENERIC PAGES:

As the name suggests these are descriptions of "kinds" or "genres" of acts rather than descriptions particular to one act.

Nevertheless most are based on a particular band or artiste and a look at their setlist, if given, the kind of songs they have in their repertoire, their line-up of instrumentalists and vocalists, the size of the group and their geographical location will indicate whether they are of interest to you or not.

Since they are generic you may ask us to find something similar but larger / smaller or more traditional / modern in a different location. The generic pages will give you ideas about what is available and make you more informed on what to look out for in a band.

For example who would have thought of some bands being good buskers and accompanists for guest singers while others might use just that little bit of extra technology, i.e. backing tracks, to such an extent that they would not welcome such singers.

These generic pages are free advertising for bands. We hope to get gigs for them and so earn commission.
