Venues in your locality where you would like to get gigs
We are based in Leixlip, Co Kildare, but we respond to requests for information on bands and performers throughout Ireland. Instead of waiting for Venue Owners to contact us we hope to make ourselves -- and you -- known to them.
If possible give us the name, address, phone number and name of contact person for the best music venues in your area. We may be able to help you get gigs there.
When
and where can our talent scout see and hear you perform?
Prospective clients will ask us for a gig list where they can see and hear you. Please keep us informed on your upcoming gigs especially if we are contacting you for availability and price.
Details of upcoming gigs or names and phone nos of recent
satisfied customers if far from Dublin.
Your prices
Discuss this over the phone with us if you prefer. We'll contact you every time before recommending you for a gig. In our experience price matters especially nowadays.
The lowest price quoted is chosen every time all else being equal i.e. fame, quality of musicianship, styles of music, location, and date, weekends & New Year's Eve and such like are obviously more expensive.
We charge you a 10% commission. If you insist on adding that to your existing fee you may be sure that others will undercut you by deducting it from theirs.
This is a marketplace. Clients come here for good value. We give them a choice. Given half a chance clients will bargain with you in order to get the best they can for as little as they can.
If you feel that our commission is too much or too little say so. We'll make a deal with you. To be honest, some bands offer us more. Those telling us to "add whatever you like to our fee" don't understand how an agency works.
Your client will approach you for a quote once in a lifetime. The agency will field such requests to you twice and three times a week if your kind of act is in demand. Since we give clients a choice - I'll say it again - price matters. That's our experience after eight years in the business.
The business is changing. Pub gigs are getting fewer and fewer although they are the mainstay of new bands. Families will still book a band for weddings and anniversaries but on a limited budget. Corporate events require high-class experienced professional bands with a good reputation. Even they have cut back on such expenditure and will query an expensive quote.
