Bands, groups, solo musicians, and performers of all kinds are welcome to register with us, giving us contact details and a description of their act.

The Annual Registration Fee is €40 plus VAT or €48.40 per year. This fee is payable in advance by new Acts and on renewal invoice by existing Acts.

With luck -- and depending on your own musical ability and your ability to conclude a deal with clients -- you will recover your registration fee within a few weeks from extra gigs resulting from our recommendations. We allow you a refund of your Registration Fee in our deduction of our Commission on your first gig from us. See FEES

When Event Organisers (EO) contact us requesting information on an Act for an event we will include your band in the list of recommended bands we send out if we think you are suitable. We will take into account the type of music the EO requires, the budget, the location, and your line-up. 

We will first contact you by text, by e-mail, or by telephone to discuss your availability and price.  (Please be patient with us.  It takes time to get your details entered into our database and to wait for the right gig to come along.)

Every day we publish details of gigs available on our "Quote for Gigs Available" page. This page is reserved to registered Acts and can only be accessed by username and password. Once you are registered with us you can access this page yourself and, if you are available and if you consider yourself exactly what the client is looking for, you can quote for these gigs.

The Agency reserves the final say on who is included in a particular list of recommendations and who is not. Our decision is final. We won't waste a client's time recommending "Hoodgie Boodgie & the Hedgetrimmers" as a classical string quartet. Sorry Hoodgie! You guys have to wait for the next Sunday afternoon hootenanny in the beergarden down at the Sawdust Bar.

To be included in our database and be recommended for gigs you need to send us the profile, description, line-up, biopics, set lists, demo CDs, DVD, leaflets, cards, reviews or photos you would send to a client. Those and the annual registration fee of €40 plus VAT or €48.40. Most of this is requested on our Registration Form.

Payment can be made easily and safely by credit card to our account with PayPal. Alternatively send us a cheque in the post together with the material requested above to GOOD GIGS MUSIC AGENCY, Leixlip Gate, Leixlip, Co Kildare.

1. The Event Number
   (You will find that on the Quote for Gigs page or on our e-mail, text or telephone request to you. Since you are likely to be dealing with many requests from us week by week you should always use the Event Number to distinguish one from the other.)
   
   
2. The Price they wish to charge taking everything into account, size of venue and amplification, length of time required, distance to the venue, away-from-home expenses etc
   (Price is often the "decider" in booking an Act, all other things being equal the band quoting the lowest price is most likely to get the gig. Obviously well-known established acts with a good reputation will have their own price structure but others might consider whether they would prefer to play more frequent "competitively priced" gigs or wait for fewer "high-earner" gigs.)
   
   
3. Our Discount
   ( We'll discuss this with you when we contact you for availability and price.)
   
   
4. The Duration of the Act's show, set, or performance and any significant conditions such as "Won't play after midnight" etc. (We need to be certain on behalf of the client that there are no unpleasant time-related surprises in store at the end of the evening.)
   
   
5. The Act ID provided by us on our acceptance of the registration.

There is a "reserved area" on the web site which is available only to registered bands. There you will find special deals such as this idea of a "gig exchange".

Since ultimately our registered bands are akin to members of an association we will also publish up to date news of our activities there and share our experience for the benefit of younger bands starting off on their road to "stardom".

Well-established bands may well find it worth their while to participate in the gig exchange also.

• For an annual fee of €60.50 including VAT we will put up a basic web page for you on this site.
• The links will be through the GOOD GIGS MUSIC AGENCY.
• All you need do is supply us with a good photograph, some text, and the fee.
• This is an optional extra to the Registration Fee of €40 plus VAT or €48.40 which covers your entry into the Database from which we make our recommendations.
• These fees will enable you to share in our advertising in the GOLDEN PAGES and in occasional newspaper adverts that we intend to publish throughout the coming year. When people come to our site they will see your "thumbnail ad" which will lead them to your web page.
• This is also in addition to our recommendations from our database arising from the numerous phone calls we receive every day. We want you to get gigs through us.
