TRANSLATION

Eo Feasa, a translation agency specialising in Irish,
offers translation to and from most world languages.

EO FEASA TRANSLATORS can translate your documents at reasonable cost, within an agreed time, and with accuracy and confidentiality. We are based in Ireland and have numerous highly qualified professional translators available both in Ireland and abroad.

We can accept your text for translation either

  • by post at Eo Feasa, Leixlip Gate, Leixlip, Co Kildare, Ireland.
  • by fax 00 353-(0)1 6104442, or
  • by email attachment to eofeasa@eircom.net.

LANGUAGES

Thanks to the internet and email we have a large number of translators on our panel with the qualifications, experience, and reliability to provide accurate translations to or from the world's major languages.

Our speciality is Irish, An Ghaeilge. We have recruited a number of highly qualified and experienced Irish Language translators to work for our agency, and we are confident that we can provide excellent translations to modern Irish which convey accurately the meaning of the original while retaining much of the authentic style of traditional Irish. Translations to Irish are proof-read and edited by a second translator to ensure the highest standard in this rapidly developing language.

QUOTATION

If you need material translated quickly contact us. We will let you know of the availability of our translators in the languages you require and offer you a quotation. If you accept it we will take the responsibility of having your text accurately translated within the time agreed to meet your deadline.

The charge for translation is generally based on the number of words in the source language if supplied in electronic form (MS Word email attachment etc.) otherwise the charge is based on the number of words in the finished translation.

Proof reading and editing is charged by the hour. If required -- and if geographically possible! -- the translator can attend at your office and supervise the final corrections being entered on your computer.

2,000 words per day would be an average rate of output to expect from a professional translator. "Average" means that some translators may take more or less time than others. Irish, for example, being a lesser used language, requires a considerable amount of time. Our charges apply to ordinary working hours Monday to Friday. If overnight translations or weekend translations are required in cases of extreme urgency the charge may be a little more.
